ACUS seeks a public relations/communications student for an unpaid Summer 2014 internship.  We would be delighted to work with school programs to offer academic credit, and can tailor internship hour requirements accordingly.  Start and end dates are flexible.  The intern will be supervised by Communications Director Megan Kindelan. 
 
INTERNSHIP DETAILS
We are seeking a highly motivated, professional and rock star intern for the upcoming summer semester. Previous experience working in public relations and/or social media internships is preferred, but not required. The intern should also demonstrate strong written and oral communications skills.

* Sunrise Senior Living is looking for interns for their Marketing & Communications department located in McLean, VA. We are looking for a summer intern and I wanted to let PRSSA members know of this great opportunity!

 * Our Task, a small nonprofit based in Arlington. We hosted the Earth 2100 Conference at Mason last summer, and we’ll be hosting an even bigger conference this coming summer! We will also provide a day of programming for the Washington Youth Summit on the Environment. We have a lot of ties with Mason, and we are hoping to fill in some of our open internship positions with Mason students!

* Hopecam is looking for a social media/public relations intern starting immediately until the end of the school year for which we can pay a $1,500 stipend.

This intern would be responsible for: Helping to develop and implementing a public relations/communications strategy that includes social media and earned media directed at these audiences:
Potential and Current Donors
Families of children with cancer
High School and Elementary School Educators
Oncology Social Workers
Etc.
